As part of this commitment, every resident will also be gifted a Fitbit to help track and support their fitness journey. This bespoke approach ensures that your physical, mental, and social well-being are all carefully nurtured, allowing you to live your best life.

Hello there, I’m Elizabeth, your Wellbeing Advisor here at Pemberley Place. My role is to make sure your health and wellbeing needs are being met and to provide support through a variety of services. Alongside running health checks, you can expect to see me running a range of activities on site such as gentle chair yoga, a walking group and many more to suit your interests. My main goal is to make sure you are happy and healthy.

The bespoke Be Well 360 programme is tailored to the individual needs of each resident by trained professionals, delivering proven improvements in health, wellbeing, and overall quality of life.

 

Participants have experienced a reduction in BMI from an average of 30 to 25, alongside a drop in cholesterol levels from 5.5 to 4.6, and blood pressure improvements from pre-high to normal levels.

 

The programme has also helped to combat loneliness, with a 47% reduction in reported isolation, and overall wellbeing satisfaction has risen to 91%, an 11% increase.

 

The physical benefits are equally impressive. Participants saw a 50 percent increase in lower body strength, improving from 10 to 15 stands in the 30-second chair rise test, and a 100 percent improvement in balance, doubling their one-leg balance time from 10 to 20 seconds. Engagement in regular exercise has risen from 40 percent to 60 percent, leading to a healthier, more active lifestyle. The impact of these changes is significant, with the average biological age of participants reducing by two years.
